Topps has launched a world first Mbappe card complete with a piece of the European Super Cup match ball and goal net in which the French star scored his first Real Madrid goal.
The card, which is being given away randomly with orders of the £8.99 Mbappe Topps Now card, is the first of its kind to have two authentic match ‘relics’ ever made by Topps and is likely to be worth thousands of pounds for a lucky buyer.
The card will be given away to a random order if one of the new Topps Now Super Cup cards are ordered. The cards are limited edition and sold for a short period only and feature the likes of Mbappe, Luka Modric and the Real Madrid team celebrating their Super Cup victory over Atalanta.
Topps says: “Look out for authentic Super Cup final relics and parallels with lucky orders…:
“An exclusive 1/1 double-relic containing a piece of the match ball and goal net from Mbappe’s first Real Madrid C.F. goal. The first ever Topps Now double relic football card!”
Fans also have the chance to get ‘relic’ cards featuring just the goal net if they order the cards. There will be a single ‘gold’ goal net relic card, five orange, ten red, 25 purple, 49 blue and 99 green goal new relic cards sent out with orders.
There will also be standard ‘parallel’ coloured cards, which do not have a piece of the net or ball but do come with a different colour design and are limited in number.
