Panini has revealed the new Premier League Adrenalyn XL advent calendar and it comes with some brilliant goodies for collectors of the official card game.
The new Panini Premier League Adrenalyn XL collection was launched last month with players from all 20 Premier League clubs, eight new Golden Baller cards with their iconic gold foil pattern, plus rare parallel cards and a handful of ultra-rare Limited Editions.
We got our hands on the launch pack and love the upgraded card designs, premium feel of the packs and the solid and durable binder to hold the entire collection.

Now the brand has launched a Christmas advent calendar for 2025 and it comes with some fantastic freebies including a guaranteed Kai Havertz ‘excellence’ card that is only available in the calendar.
The advent calendar also includes a guaranteed Golden Baller card. That means a choice of Martin Odegaard of Arsenal, Cole Palmer of Chelsea, Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool, Phil Foden of Manchester City, Anthony Gordon of Newcastle, Kobbie Mainoo of Manchester United, or Hueng Min Son of Spurs. It could also be the rare Invincibles Golden Baller, featuring six of the Premier League’s top players.
Behind the doors of the calendar you will also get three limited edition cards and one ‘history maker’ card as well as 18 packs of cards for the chance to find more rare insertions.

The calendar is not the only one to hit the market in recent weeks. Rival card seller Topps has launched its own Match Attax calendar featuring cards covering clubs in European competitions from the 2024/25 season. The Match Attax calendar is priced at £30 here.
There are some notable extras with the Match Attax calendar too. Buyers get 120 cards including 24 new ‘Festive Cards’ plus a new Gold-Edge card.
There is also a chance to grab rare cards including those autographed by some of the biggest players across Europe. Special inserts include Hall of Fame Chrome cards, Platinum Pull LE’s, Ultimate Talent, Genuine Autograph cards, and Genuine Autograph Combo cards.
