Liverpool has not confirmed the release date of the 2024/25 kit but historical kit launches mean that fans can expect the shirt to be launched in early May.
In 2022 Liverpool revealed their kit on 5 May with orders beginning a few weeks later on 18 May. That pattern continued with the current kit being revealed on 5 May in 2023 and a similar wait before orders were opened for the home shirt.
Liverpool kits are still made by Nike and it is likely the same pattern will take place this year, meaning Liverpool fans should pencil in the first week of May for the 2024 kit launch. However, this year 5 May falls on a Sunday so fans could see the kit a few days early or even on the following Monday.
However, it is very likely the kit will be revealed in the first week of May with fans able to get hold of the kit as early as the second or third week of the month.
You will be able to buy the new kit here.
Fans have already seen what is likely to be the new Liverpool 2024/25 home kit. The shirt has been leaked by a number of sites and depicts a traditional red shirt with thin yellow pinstripes and a pattern across the shirt based on the club’s motto, You’ll Never Walk Alone. The shirt features the badge, Nike logo and the eternal flame commemorating the victims of the Hillsborough disaster.
The shirt mirrors that of the iconic 1984 European Cup winning side and the more recent 2019 shirt that also featured small yellow pinstripes.
Will Liverpool wear the 2024/25 kit this season?
Possibly. Liverpool are not changing the manufacturer or main kit sponsor this summer and that means the kit could be worn for one of the final games of the season without breaking any major contracts.
However, it is far more likely Liverpool will wear the new home shirt for the first time against Arsenal on 31 July or against Manchester United on 3 August depending on who is designated as the home team for the US friendly ties.
Liverpool kit 2024 prices
Nike has caused some controversy in recent months with the prices for the new England Euro 2024 kit. The prices started at an eye-watering £85 for adults and rise to as much as £120 for ‘stadium’ shirts featuring more premium materials as worn by the actual players.
The 2023/24 Liverpool shirt was also sold at £85 for adults and you can expect similar prices for the new shirt for the 2024/25 season. Children’s shirts are expected to start from around £65 for the shirt only.
If you want to keep that price down you can buy the current away shirt for half price from the Liverpool store and the home shirt is likely to be discounted once the new shirt is released.
