A new pair of Messi Samba trainers have arrived in the UK months before they go on sale in the US.
The Messi Samba pink indoor trainers are priced at a hefty £100 in the UK and are the latest collaboration between the Argentinian superstar and the clothing brand. The new trainers are decked out in the pink of Inter Miami, Messi’s current MLS club, and includes his famous Messi logo on the tongue.
On launching the trainers, Adidas said: “Resplendent in Inter Miami CF’s distinctive home colours, these limited-edition adidas Samba football boots show off Messi’s logo on the tongue. Complete with its signature serrated 3-Stripes and reinforced toe, the soft leather upper will ensure you stay comfortable on and off the futsal court. That gum rubber outsole is designed to keep up with your every move.”
It is the second time Messi has teamed up with Adidas to launch a special pair of trainers. In February a Messi Argentina Samba was released and quickly sold out. They are now fetching upwards of £150 on auction websites.
The new limited edition Messi Inter Miami Sambas will likely be a sell-out too. The UK is one of the first places the shoes have launched with a US release set to take place later in 2024.

Adidas has been busy releasing a host of football-themed trainers in recent months. This week it also revealed the Adidas Originals range, which included a special Scotland national team-themed Gazelle priced at £85 and on sale in time for the team’s Euro 2024 campaign.
