Adidas has finally confirmed the industry’s worst-kept secret; Trent Alexander Arnold’s stunning white Adidas Predator boots are finally arriving in shops across the UK.
The news comes months after the Liverpool and England star was spotted in the retro-styled white Predator boots in the club’s draw against Manchester City back in November. It was a game in which TAA as he is affectionately known scored a superb arrowed equaliser in his new boots.
However, as Adidas continues its ultra-slow launch of a series of limited edition Predator ‘Elite’ boots, fans are faced with huge price tags and limited stock for the new Predator 24 x TAA ‘Pure Strike’ edition.

In fact, many fans will struggle to get their hands on the boots, notable for the folded over tongue last seen on Predator boots over a decade ago, if past limited edition launches are anything to go by. The Adidas website is listing the boots as out of stock and Pro:Direct Soccer has simply said the new boots are ‘coming soon’ in limited numbers.
The seller has faced criticism for the launches of the red/black/white version of the boots and the limited edition ‘cherry’ boots after fans queued for up to an hour on the website but struggled to get their hands on stock after the boots sold out quickly.
Fans who do manage to get to the front of the queue for the popular boots are also faced with huge prices. The Trent limited edition boots are priced at £240 – over £100 more than a standard pair of Adidas – and that price is expected to skyrocket as people buy the boots and sell them for extortionate prices on resale sites.
It is clear why the boots are so popular. Based on the famous Predator boots once worn by fellow England superstar David Beckham, the latest pair feature a stylish white and red design with the iconic folded over tongue.
Announcing the launch of the boots,”Alexander-Arnold said: “When I was growing up, I watched a lot of my idols playing in some of the iconic Predator boots over the years. So, to have fallen in love with this boot, and to play in this colour in particular, is a dream come true. I cannot wait to get back on the pitch and test them out as soon as I can.”
Fans can check the Adidas website or Pro:Soccer for availability. A small number of Predator boots are available on Kitbag.
