Adidas quietly launches stunning Scotland Euro 2024 Gazelles

Adidas revealed a new range of Originals this week and hidden among the t-shirts, trainers and hoodies is a football-themed launch that could be the best bit of Euro 2024 merch released so far.

The new 2024 Originals range includes a very special pair of Gazelle trainers. Using Adidas’ famous Gazelle design, the trainers feature the Scotland football badge on the tongue, the traditional navy blue colours with stylish yellow highlights and even a Scotland flag on the back.

And more importantly the Scotland flag is the traditional Saltaire. You can buy the trainers for £85 here.

Adidas says: “Two icons come together with these men’s Gazelle Scotland trainers by adidas Originals. The terrace icon comes in a Night Navy colourway with Yellow accents, with a soft suede upper for lasting wear. With a classic T-toe construction, they feature a tonal lace-up fastening with plush padding around the ankle collar for a locked-in fit, and sit atop a streamlined midsole with light cushioning underfoot for all-day comfort.”

The trainers are the latest big launch from the brand in the run up the Euro tournament, weeks after revealing the Scotland kit for the summer games. However, the kit has received criticism from fans because of the prices. On sale at JD Sports, the adult version of the shirt is priced at £75, with children’s shirts priced at a hefty £65.

The kit, featuring a tartan pattern and colourful side panels, will be worn by the team in the Euro 2024 opener against hosts Germany.
