You can now book a Subbuteo cruise around the Mediterranean

The best shop in the world has just launched the best holiday in the world – a cruise around the stunning Mediterranean where you can play Subbuteo all day every day.

SubbuteoLab is the world’s only dedicated Subbuteo shop and has incredible venues in Florence, Roma and Turin. It has become a destination itself for Subbuteo fans across the world who visit to view the huge amount of stock, spectacular Subbuteo stadium displays and meet owner Dany, who is one of the most passionate fans of the table-top sport around.

Now he has teamed up with cruise line MSC to launch an incredible seven-day Mediterranean cruise where holidaymakers can play Subbuteo all day. There will even be a week-long Subbuteo tournament with big prizes.

SubbuteoLab promises to set up training tables and practise areas for people who are new to the table-top football game, all while stopping off at stunning destinations including Valencia and Tarragona in Spain, Marseille in France, and Genoa, Livorno and Rome across seven nights.

The cruise is available leaving from Rome on 8 October or Genoa on 9 October.

SubbuteoLab says: “Have you ever thought about having a nice vacation on a cruise and having the chance to play Subbuteo? This is definitely a first for us too!

“We will be sailing from two different ports to allow people from more parts of Italy to participate. Email us, contact us by phone (or visit us in the stores), for info and quotations!”

The cruise will start from $765 per person with all inclusive package, according to organisers.

MSC is one of Europe’s biggest cruise lines. The company runs cruises across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Caribbean. You can see more information on the MSC website here.

The Subbuteo cruise will take place on the MSC Fantastia, which includes casinos, bars, a theatre, swimming pools and tennis courts. There are also boutique shops and at the centre of the ship is a real stone piazza complete with an espresso bar serving freshly-baked pastries and authentic gelati.

The only issue could be if there are rough sees, which would make Subbuteo a danger sport as the table tilts!
