Adidas Amsterdam trainers confirmed as fans await price and release date information

Adidas has teamed up with UK trainer store Size? to launch a new set of trainers based on the city of Amsterdam.

The new Adidas Amsterdam Anthology Pack will be on sale in Spring in the UK here and prices have not yet been revealed for the four-strong set. The trainers are the latest in the long-running Adidas City Specials range, which feature designs and features based on individual cities across the world.

The Adidas City Specials were first introduced in the 1950s and cover a huge range of different styles of trainer. A huge terrace culture hit, the latest set add four new designs and colours to the hugely popular Amsterdam collection.

Featuring gold Amsterdam branding, the Adidas Amsterdam Anthology Pack will feature a light blue, dark blue, tan and burgundy options and each has a different inner design featuring architecture from the city itself. The trainers come with a suede upper and leather highlights on the famous Three Stripes.

It is the first time Adidas has launched a version of the Amsterdam since 2020, when a darker brown option was released.

Size has the launch date down for Spring in the UK but an actual date has not arrived yet. You will be able to buy them from the Size website.

Adidas trainers a hugely popular with football fans and collectors alike. In recent years it has launched a host of themed trainers including four different variations of Subbuteo-themed trainers including Celtic and Rangers versions. The Subbuteo trainers feature a Subbuteo figure inside the trainer and unique team-related colourways.
