Somebody has built a Subbuteo Quidditch stadium complete with Hogwarts Express

We’ve seen some magical Subbuteo stadiums in the last few years but this one really takes it to another level.

Subbuteo collector and builder of some of the most spectacular stadiums around, Stephen Moreton, has revealed his latest offering. And it proves he really is a wizard when it comes to design.

He has built an Quidditch stadium around his Subbuteo Quidditch pitch including the tall, towering stands featured in the Harry Potter films.

The stadium also includes the three hoops suspended on goal posts as defended by Ron Weasley in JK Rowling’s best-selling books, as well as wizarding shops and even a part of the famous Hogwarts castle which is home to the students and teachers in the world of Harry Potter.

Stephen has not stopped there – he has sacrificed the corners of his Subbuteo pitch to fit in a train, which has been dubbed the SubbWarts Express after the magical train that takes students from Platform 9 3/4 to Hogwarts.

The pitch may not be your traditional Subbuteo as it now forms something like an oval but Stephen has proved that Subbuteo can cast a spell no matter what the setup.

We look forward to seeing whatever crazy contribution he will be making to the world of Subbuteo in future.
