Subbuteo seller has massive heavyweight collection including Rosario and Haarlem for sale

A Subbuteo seller has unearthed his Subbuteo collection from the 1970s and it includes a few rare teams.

Phil contacted Subbuteo.Online with a stunning collection of heavyweight teams that includes a rare ref 087, which is Dutch side Haarlem, as well as a ref 296, which is Rosario Central of Argentina.

Other teams include an Austria Salzburg with the distinctive violet waistcoat shirts, plus international sides such as Haiti and El Salvador.

Phil says: “The set is used in the most as throughout the 1970s and was the source of many hours of entertainment for my friends and family. Originally it was given to me by my dad and was a secondhand set with a couple of teams, pitch and a few accessories.

“Included in the original set was a August 1954 price list for replacements and accessories.”

“Over the 70s my collection grew with 30 plus teams. Some teams are in excellent conditions no breakages or repairs others show signs of use. There are some boxes with reference numbers on, others have no reference numbers on or are obstructed, my dad fixed some with black tape!”

He is now looking to sell the collection that includes over 30 heavyweight teams including Liverpool away, Man Utd, Dundee, Liverpool, Eire, Scotland and Partick Thistle. Other accessories include Mundial goals, white Tango balls, and corner and free kicks takers.

If you want to contact Phil about the collection send an email to subbuteoonline@gmail.com and we will forward it on for you.
